Nana Osei Koree Bolsters NDC Campaign in Nkawkaw with Strategic Donations

On Wednesday, 6th November 2024, with the December elections drawing near, Comrade Nana Osei Koree, the Eastern Regional Young Cadres Coordinator, reaffirmed his dedication to the NDC’s success by making a significant contribution to his home constituency, Nkawkaw. Demonstrating strategic foresight and party loyalty, Koree donated 250 aprons, two megaphones, and a cash sum of 5,000 GHC to strengthen the constituency’s campaign efforts.




The donation event was attended by key party figures, including the Parliamentary Candidate, Fred Somuah Obeng, and Constituency Chairman, Halidu Tamimu, with all constituency and branch executives present. The gathering underlined the unity and determination within the party to secure victory in the upcoming elections.


During his address, Koree emphasized the importance of unity and relentless campaigning as the election date approaches. “With only a few weeks left, now is the time to hit the ground hard and finish strong,” he stated, calling on all party members to intensify their efforts for a successful outcome. He reassured the executives of his commitment to demploy Young Cadres to provide additional manpower for comprehensive voter outreach and mobilization.


Koree’s support not only provided practical resources but also served as a powerful symbol of his dedication to the party’s cause. His actions inspired renewed confidence among party members, reminding them of their shared mission to bring John Dramani Mahama back to power and secure a bright future for Nkawkaw and beyond.


The donation marks a climacteric moment in the final stretch of the campaign, with Nana Osei Koree’s leadership setting the stage for an energized push towards election day.

John Evans Kumordzi was officially confirmed as the Municipal Chief Executive (MCE). The confirmation took place at the Municipal Assembly Hall in Akropong amidst intense political activity and public interest. The proceedings began at exactly 1:00 PM, with 48 assembly members comprising 32 elected and 16 government appointees present to cast their votes. As required by the Local Government Act, the nominee needed to secure at least two-thirds majority, translating to 32 votes, for confirmation.
