October of Gratitude: Thank You Tour Continues with Grassroots Engagement

 By Edwin Kobina Amoquandoh

The October of Gratitude initiative has entered full swing as the second phase of the Thank You Tour progresses steadily across the constituency. The tour, designed to acknowledge and celebrate the contributions of grassroots executives, has so far energized zones and reinforced unity ahead of the 2028 general elections.

The phase officially commenced on Friday, October 3, 2025, with a vibrant gathering at Larteh. Party leaders met with the entire branch executives of the Larteh Zone, led by Chairman Daniel Awere, alongside Vice Chairman Baba Tunde, Secretary Isaac Batsa Hamlin, Deputy Secretary Samuel Janus, Youth Organiser Ahmed Agbenyadzi, Deputy Youth Organiser Junior Oduro, Treasurer Banahene, Deputy Treasurer Kingsford Kalefe, Women Organiser Janet Okyerewa Addo, Deputy Organiser Matthew Antwi, and other distinguished constituency executives including CK Man, OPK, Hayford, Gideon Owusu, Mr. Odoom, Ademu, Vida Ankamah, Shadrack Obeng Ampofo, Prince Baah etc…

Following Larteh, the tour continued to the Amanokrom Community, where similar engagements were held with local executives and members.

The Mamfe Zone, which was initially scheduled as the opening stop of this phase, was postponed due to unforeseen circumstances. Leadership has assured that a new date will be communicated in due course to ensure Mamfe also benefits from the October of Gratitude engagements.

The next leg of the tour is scheduled for Wednesday, October 8, 2025, with stops at Mangoase, Adawso, and Abenta, beginning at 1:00 pm. The leadership is expected to meet with branch executives and community members to continue its message of appreciation and to strengthen the bond with the grassroots.

As the October of Gratitude unfolds, one message continues to resonate across every stop: the strength and future success of the party rest firmly in the hands of its dedicated grassroots.
