The National Deputy Women's Organizer, Abigail Elorm Mensah, along with the National Director of Welfare, Vida Addae, and the Eastern Regional Women's Organizer, Shirley Naana Osei Ampem, accompanied by her deputies, Faustina Effah-Boadi and Rita Akosua Awatey, led a dynamic campaign tour through the Akropong constituency. They were joined by the constituency Women's Organizer, Janet Okyerewa Addo, her deputy, Praise Ababio Fiati, and several Akropong constituency executives.
The day's activities commenced in Mangoase with a spirited house-to-house campaign, allowing the team to connect directly with residents and share their message of hope and progress. From there, the delegation proceeded to Kokoomu, where they visited the Milenorvisi gari processing centre to engage with the industrious women at the heart of this local industry. Their outreach continued at a popular funeral ground in Kokoomu, reinforcing their commitment to community engagement.
The campaign trail then led to Adawso market, where the team interacted with market women, highlighting the key policies of John Dramani Mahama. They discussed how these policies would positively impact the women's lives and businesses, fostering economic empowerment and growth.
The day's events culminated at the Tinkong community centre, where the atmosphere was electrifying as the community gathered in anticipation. Constituency Chairman, Daniel Awere, along with the national and regional leaders, including the Deputy Eastern Regional Youth Organizer, Fohad Agbenyadzi, addressed the enthusiastic crowd. They emphasized the importance of voting for John Dramani Mahama and John Evans Kumordzi, underscoring the positive changes their leadership would bring to Tinkong and the broader community.
The speeches resonated deeply with the attendees, who were visibly energized and inspired by the message of hope and progress. The sense of a transformative wind of change blowing through the community was palpable, reflecting a growing momentum in support of Mahama and Kumordzi.
This strategic campaign event demonstrated the commitment of national and regional leaders to engage with grassroots supporters, ensuring their voices are heard and their concerns addressed. By directly interacting with various community members and emphasizing the tangible benefits of Mahama's policies, the delegation reinforced the importance of informed and active participation in the upcoming elections.
We look forward to more such energizing campaign moves within the Akropong constituency.
