Igniting the Base: Grassroots Mobilization for Ghana's Economic Rebirth

Today was a day of grassroots engagement across two constituencies. I began in Asene Manso Akroso, participating in a branch organizer's orientation workshop. I rallied our branch organizers, enlightening them about His Excellency John Dramani Mahama's revolutionary 24-Hour Economy policy - a beacon of hope for our struggling nation.



Following this, I traveled to the Ofoase-Ayirebi constituency to launch our Mobilizing the Base for Victory 2024 community engagement campaign led by the hard working constituency youth organizer, Comrade Big Cheche. In Abenase and Gyaha communities, I met with branch executives and residents, discussing the urgent need to "rescue Ghana" from the current government. I outlined our party's commitment to addressing community needs, creating jobs, and implementing the 24-hour economy policy.



Accompanied by Comrade Nat G Tetteh, Deputy Eastern Regional Youth Organizer, and Comrade Vincent Opoku Sarkodie, Regional TAN Coordinator, we forged connections and shared our vision for a better Ghana, laying the groundwork for our 2024 campaign.

John Evans Kumordzi , the incoming Member of Parliament for Akuapem North, made a significant stop at Mamfe to engage with the Mamfe Tailors and Dressmaker Association . Hon. John Evans Kumordzi Confirmed as Akuapem North Municipal Chief Executive

John Evans Kumordzi was officially confirmed as the Municipal Chief Executive (MCE). The confirmation took place at the Municipal Assembly Hall in Akropong amidst intense political activity and public interest. The proceedings began at exactly 1:00 PM, with 48 assembly members comprising 32 elected and 16 government appointees present to cast their votes. As required by the Local Government Act, the nominee needed to secure at least two-thirds majority, translating to 32 votes, for confirmation. The initial round of voting stirred tension within the hall after the counting agents mistakenly announced the results, sparking murmurs and visible unease among attendees.
