The October of Gratitude initiative of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) in the Akuapem North Constituency continued steadily on Sunday, 12th October 2025, as the constituency leadership, led by Chairman Daniel Awere, embarked on the sixth phase of its community engagement programme.

The team first made a stop at the Tutu Ward, where they met with branch executives to discuss matters relating to party organisation, mobilisation, and strategies for strengthening the grassroots. The meeting was well attended and characterised by active participation and open dialogue.

Among the constituency executives who joined the engagement were Hon. Fohad Agbenyadzi, NAP Deputy Coordinator; Baba Tunde, Vice Chairman; Banahene, Treasurer; Ahmed Agbenyadzi, Youth Organiser; George Oduro Junior, Deputy Youth Organiser; Matthew Antwi, Deputy Organiser; and Ivan Akuffo, Elections Director. Other committed members, including Hayford, CK Man, and several others, were also present.

Following the successful interaction at Tutu Ward, the train moved to the Akropong Zone, where another engaging meeting was held with the branch executives and party faithful in the area. Discussions focused on strengthening coordination between the constituency and branch levels and enhancing communication and unity among party members.

Speeches were delivered by Matthew Antwi, Ahmed Agbenyadzi, Fohad Agbenyadzi, and other speakers, all of whom emphasised teamwork, commitment, and discipline as essential ingredients for building a stronger and more united party.

Chairman Daniel Awere expressed appreciation to all constituency and branch executives for their continued support and active participation throughout the October of Gratitude engagements. He noted that the initiative has significantly boosted morale among members and deepened collaboration at all levels of the party’s structure within Akuapem North.

The final phase of the October of Gratitude is scheduled to take place at Mamfe Ward and Obosomase Ward, with the date and time to be communicated soon.
