By Edwin Kobina Amoquandoh
The Akuapem North NDC communications team, led by Bawa Aminu Sumaila, the Constituency Communication Officer, and his deputy, Jacob Ganyo, made another significant stop in their "Akuapem Must Know" campaign series. On Sunday, 15th September 2024, the team brought their grassroots message to the people of Addo Nkwanta in the Otwetiri/Kokoomu Ward, holding a gathering that started exactly at 5:00 PM.
This initiative aims to educate and engage the electorate on the policies, vision, and achievements of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), as well as promote the candidacies of John Dramani Mahama for president and John Evans Kumordzi for Akuapem North MP.
Several dignitaries graced the occasion, underscoring the importance of this event in the party’s larger strategy. Among the notable figures were Hon. John Evans Kumordzi, the incoming MP for Akuapem North, Fohad Agbenyadzi, the Deputy Regional Youth Organiser, Youth Organiser, Hon. Ahmmed Agbenyadzi, Organiser, Ernest Adom Dikoh, Gideon Owusu, Maa Augustina Nortey, and Morale. Several other constituency executives also lent their support.
The event's atmosphere was vibrant, with the key messages resonating deeply with the attendees. It was evident that the communication strategy employed by the NDC team had an impact, ensuring that their message reached even the last person in the crowd.
Reflecting on the event, I believe that this is the blueprint for success. If the majority of our campaign follows this path, the NDC will undoubtedly secure a decisive victory in the upcoming elections. The energy and enthusiasm displayed by both the dignitaries and the electorate at Addo Nkwanta signal that the NDC is on a strong trajectory towards victory.
As we approach December 7, 2024, the momentum is building. We are all eagerly awaiting the day we can cast our votes for John Dramani Mahama as President and John Evans Kumordzi as MP. This event was a clear indication that the future of Akuapem North is in safe hands with the NDC. The journey continues, and victory is within reach!
