The Youth Crusades: A Super Mega Success in Akuapem North

The second edition of the Youth Crusades was organized by the constituency youth department of Akropong headed by Hon. Ahmmed Agbenyadzi lived up to expectations, launching with a powerful first phase on Sunday, 8th September 2024, at the Adawso Lorry Station. The event was a resounding success, attracting a significant turnout and setting the tone for what promises to be an impactful series of engagements.
The program was honored by the presence of several key dignitaries, whose attendance underscored the importance of the Youth Crusades within the political landscape of Akuapem North. Among the distinguished guests were Deputy Women Organiser Parise Ababio, Parliamentary Candidate for Akuapem North Constituency Hon. John Evans Kumordzi, and Deputy Eastern Regional Youth Organiser Fohad Agbenyadzi. Also in attendance were Communications Officer Aminu Bawa, his deputy Jacob Ganyo, and various other constituency executives.
A notable highlight of the event was the interaction with the "Okada Boys," a group of motorcycle operators who have faced significant challenges during the current NPP administration. The Okada Boys took the opportunity to voice their concerns, sharing the difficulties they have encountered over the past eight years. In response, Hon. John Evans Kumordzi, the NDC's Parliamentary Candidate for Akuapem North, listened attentively and assured them that their issues would be a priority under the next NDC government. He promised that the NDC would bring much-needed hope and transformation to their lives.
The second phase of the Youth Crusades took place later that day at Kokoomu School Park, commencing promptly at 4:00 PM. The engagement with the residents of Kokoomu was equally successful, with a strong turnout and active participation from the community. The enthusiasm displayed by the people of Kokoomu further emphasized the growing momentum behind the Youth Crusades.
