Day 5 of Phase 3 Micro-Community Engagement/Retail Campaign in Akuapem North

Friday, 15th November 2024, marked Day 5 of the Phase 3 Micro-Community Engagement/Retail Campaign for the Akuapem North Constituency. Under the energetic leadership of John Evans Kumordzi, the NDC’s Parliamentary Candidate, and our Presidential Candidate, John Dramani Mahama, the team continued to build bridges and inspire confidence among the communities.
The day began at Mampong Zongo, where John Evans Kumordzi, alongside a robust team of party stalwarts, was warmly received by residents. The engagement here set the tone for the day, with leaders exchanging ideas and emphasizing their commitment to addressing local needs. The Parliamentary Candidate’s message resonated with promises of development and inclusive governance, which drew appreciation and support from the community.
The team, comprised of notable figures such as Constituency Chairman Daniel Awere, Deputy Women’s Organiser Praise Ababio Fiati, Constituency Organiser Ernest Adom Dikoh and his deputy Matthew Antwi, Youth Organiser Hon. Ahmed Agbenyadzi and his Deputy George Oduro Junior, Communications Officer Bawa Aminu Sumaila and his Deputy Jacob Ganyo, and key figures like Edward Mfum Mintah and Prince Baah Boadu, moved with unwavering determination.
Also gracing the campaign were respected former constituency leaders including Daniel Ofei, Opoku Philip Okra (OPK), and Hon. Philip Kwabi Adomako. Other supportive figures, such as Olando Abubakari, Suzzy Yankson, and Ing. Isaac Amartey, showcased the rich history and unity of the NDC in Akuapem North.
After a meaningful session in Mampong Zongo, the team made its way to Dodoowa Kwanso, where community members welcomed them with open arms. Here, the NDC leaders emphasized local solutions and sustainable policies aimed at improving living standards.
The third stop at Amanfo community was a lively engagement where residents voiced their expectations and engaged in dialogue with the campaign team. It was a moment of mutual reinforcement as party leaders highlighted plans that resonate with the aspirations of the local population.
The campaign trail then led to Abotekyi Remission Church, where a spirit of unity prevailed. The choice of the church as a meeting venue underscored the NDC’s commitment to connecting with all sectors of society, embodying a leadership that listens and integrates diverse voices.
The final stop at Bungalow capped off the day, with members of the campaign expressing their heartfelt appreciation to the people of Akuapem North for their continued support and trust in John Evans Kumordzi and John Dramani Mahama. The event ended with a renewed sense of purpose, as the campaign team prepared for the days ahead, determined to consolidate support and strengthen relationships across the constituency.
With each day of engagement, the NDC’s vision for a progressive and people-centered future comes alive. The Phase 3 micro-community engagement is not just a campaign but a testament to the party’s dedication to fostering genuine connections and a shared path forward.
