Day 4 of Phase 3: Strengthening Grassroots Support for John Evans Kumordzi and John Dramani Mahama in Akuapem North


On Thursday, 14th November 2024, the Akuapem North Constituency witnessed another climacteric day of Phase 3 in the NDC’s micro-community engagement and retail campaign. This strategic outreach aims to solidify support for the NDC’s Parliamentary Candidate, John Evans Kumordzi, and Presidential Candidate, John Dramani Mahama.





The campaign saw the presence of dedicated party stalwarts, includin the charismatic PC, John Evans Kumordzi, and the committed Constituency Chairman, Daniel Awere, Deputy Women’s Organiser Praise Ababio Fiati, Constituency Organiser Ernest Adom Dikoh, accompanied by his deputy, Matthew Antwi. The Youth Organiser, Hon. Ahmed Agbenyadzi, alongside Deputy Oduro George Junior, played a crucial role in rallying the youth, while Communications Officer Bawa Aminu Sumaila ensured the campaign’s message resonated clearly.



The day was also marked by the valuable presence of former party leaders, including Daniel Offei and former Secretary Philip Kwabi Adomako, who lent their seasoned insights and unwavering support to the campaign.


The day’s engagement commenced at Sokore Guaso, where the team was met with enthusiastic community members. Speeches delivered by the campaign leaders were rich with messages of hope, unity, and the reasons why voting for John Evans Kumordzi and John Dramani Mahama would usher in a new era of progress. The speeches not only motivated the crowd but also reinforced the NDC’s commitment to addressing local concerns and prioritizing development.




The momentum continued as the campaign moved to the Boko village. Here, the team engaged with the residents, fostering deeper connections and answering questions that mattered to the community. The interaction reflected the NDC’s dedication to listening to the voices of the people and addressing their needs comprehensively.


The next stop at Okokoa was met with tangible excitement. The community’s vibrant response showcased their eagerness for change, with many expressing anticipation for the 7th of December 2024, the date set for the general elections. The crowd’s enthusiasm was a testament to the effectiveness of the NDC’s grassroots approach.




The final engagement of the day took place in Kwamoso, where the campaign team received a warm reception. The community’s readiness for change was clear as constituents openly expressed their intent to vote out the NPP administration. The interactions were filled with passion and determination, emphasizing the NDC’s commitment to offering better governance and inclusive policies.


Day 4 of Phase 3 exemplified the strength of the NDC’s collective effort and the resonance of its campaign messages across the Akuapem North communities. The dedication of John Evans Kumordzi, the strategic leadership of Daniel Awere, and the support of both current and former executives underlined that this is more than just a campaign—it is a movement grounded in solidarity and hope for a brighter future.


With days like these, the path to victory for the NDC on 7th December 2024 looks ever promising.
