Day 1 of Phase 3: Energizing Community Engagements in Akuapem North for Kumordzi and Mahama

On Monday, 11th November 2024, the Akuapem North Constituency came alive with Day One of Phase Three (3) community engagements and retail campaign for the NDC’s Parliamentary Candidate, John Evans Kumordzi, and Presidential Candidate, John Dramani Mahama. The event marked a significant push in the NDC’s campaign strategy to secure grassroots support ahead of the December 7th elections.
The campaign commenced at 9:00 AM at Tinkong Park, where a large gathering of teachers participating in sporting activities warmly welcomed the party’s field soldiers. Present were John Evans Kumordzi, Constituency Chairman Daniel Awere, Vice Chairman Kwaku Agyapong, Constituency Organiser Ernest Adom Dikoh, Communications Officer Bawa Aminu Sumaila, and Deputy Communications Officer Jacob Ganyo. The team was further strengthened by the presence of former Constituency Chairman Daniel Offei, Dr. William Adjei Twumasi and several constituency executives
Each speaker delivered powerful and hopeful messages, urging the community to support the vision of Kumordzi and Mahama. The speeches emphasized the importance of the upcoming elections and highlighted the party’s commitment to change and progress.
At 3:00 PM, the campaign moved to the Nsubetor Community, where the team engaged with enthusiastic residents. The energy continued to build as the residents expressed their readiness for the December polls.
The next stop was Nyamebekyere at 4:00 PM. The excitement among the crowd was unmistakable, with cheers signaling strong support for the NDC. The visit reinforced the community’s commitment to voting for change.
By 5:00 PM, the team had arrived at Timber Nkwanta, where interactions with residents continued. The unwavering message was clear: the NDC is prepared to lead with integrity and action.
The last stop was at 6:00 PM in Konkoh with the “Akuapem Must Know” series. Videos showcasing the failures of the NPP government were presented to an attentive audience under the theme “Fidi ga dookye” (“Seeing is Believing”). The compelling presentation further galvanized the community’s resolve to support the NDC and vote for change.
The success of the day’s engagements was evident through the positive reception and the noticeable anticipation for election day. The campaign team executed their agenda flawlessly, showcasing the unity and strength of the NDC. free
