Building Bridges: Day 3 of Phase 3 Engagement in Akuapem North

On Wednesday, 13th November 2024, the Akuapem North Constituency witnessed the continuation of Phase 3 of the NDC’s community engagement and retail campaign, a significant step toward rallying support for our esteemed Parliamentary Candidate, John Evans Kumordzi, and Presidential Candidate, John Dramani Mahama.
The day kicked off with a dynamic team of dedicated NDC leaders and field soldiers. Key figures present included the Parliamentary Candidate, John Evans Kumordzi, along with Constituency Chairman Daniel Awere, Secretary, Isaac Batsa Hamillin, and Deputy Women’s Organiser, Praise Ababio Fiati, whose eloquence and confident delivery left a strong impression. Joining them were Constituency Organiser, Ernest Adom Dikoh and his deputy, Matthew Antwi; Youth Organiser, Hon. Ahmed Agbenyadzi and Deputy, George Oduro Junior; and Communications Officer, Bawa Aminu Sumaila and Deputy, Jacob Ganyo. Edward Mfum Mintah were also in attendance, supported by other dedicated constituency executives.
The day was further graced by the presence of party stalwarts like former Constituency Chairman Daniel Ofei, former Secretary Hon. Philip Kwabi Adomako, and Hon. Kofi Asante (affectionately known as Panti), adding depth to the campaign with their experience and support.
The agenda commenced at the Adawso School Park, where the team made a notable cash donation and gifted items to the sub-zone inter-schools sports team. The NDC’s contribution was warmly welcomed, showcasing the party’s commitment to nurturing youth and sports development in the constituency.
The next stop was Adawso Clinic, where a cash donation was made to assist the clinic’s operations, reinforcing the NDC’s dedication to supporting healthcare services and acknowledging the vital work of health practitioners.
Following these charitable gestures, the campaign team proceeded to Ankwenni, where vibrant community interactions took place. The team’s presence resonated with the residents, strengthening connections and discussing pressing local issues. The journey continued through Kebu and Apasare, where the NDC delegation was met with enthusiasm and hope from the communities.
One of the highlights of the day was the visit to Adawso Zongo, where the warmth of the community underscored the significance of the engagement efforts. The campaign concluded in Adawso RC, Where the crowd present was overwhelming, it energized the base for a smoother campaign. Messages from each speaker flew to their peak.
Day 3 of Phase 3 was not just about donations and speeches; it was a testament to unity, resilience, and the NDC’s pledge to stand with the people of Akuapem North. The collaborative efforts of the campaign team, infused with the wisdom of seasoned party members and the energetic contributions of youth organisers and communicators, emphasized that change is within reach.
As the campaign progresses, the hope is that these engagements reinforce trust, inspire action, and pave the way for a resounding victory in the upcoming elections.
