United Cadres Front Hosts Maiden ‘Young Cadres’ Seminar on Agribusiness as a Viable Career Path in Akropong Constituency

The United Cadres Front (UCF) of the Akropong Constituency successfully organized the maiden edition of the ‘Young Cadres’ Seminar’ under the theme “Seeds of Change: Agribusiness as a Viable Career Path for Youth”. The event, held on Saturday, 15th February 2025, at exactly 9:00 am, attracted a distinguished lineup of dignitaries and thought leaders who provided insightful perspectives on agribusiness opportunities for the youth.
The seminar saw the participation of notable figures including Comrade Richard Yeboah, UCF Akuapem North Chairman, Nana Koree, the Young Cadres Coordinator of the Eastern Region, Margaret Ansah, Former Parliamentary Candidate of Akropong Constituency, Roland Nyarko, Former Eastern Regional ECG Engineer, Alex Cassidy Patron for Young Cadres, Charles Annan, Former Constituency Secretary for Dome, Felix Nketia from the Ministry of Agriculture, Ing. Isaac Amartey, Hon. Anthony Gyampo, Dr. William Twumasi, Mr. Jacob Adongo Atule, and Nana Oboadie, among others. The event was elegantly moderated by Kwame Apeti Walker, who served as the Master of Ceremony.
The speakers delivered impactful presentations, each bringing a wealth of experience and knowledge that echoed intensely with the audience. Comrade Roland Nyarko emphasized the importance of empowering the youth to explore agribusiness as a sustainable career option, while Nana Koree highlighted the role of young cadres in driving agricultural innovation in the Eastern Region.
Felix Nketia from the Ministry of Agriculture offered practical guidance on accessing government support and resources for young agripreneurs.
The maiden seminar not only inspired the youth to consider agribusiness as a viable career path but also fostered networking opportunities among participants, setting the stage for future engagements and collaborations within the agricultural sector.
The United Cadres Front of the Akropong Constituency has indeed sown the ‘Seeds of Change’ with this initiative, reaffirming its commitment to empowering the next generation through innovative and sustainable career pathways.
